Volvo Rings in the New Year with Plans for the Arrival of a V60 Wagon

Volvo isn't wasting any time when it comes making sure 2014 is filled with lots of new model unveils. One that all of us here at Bob Penkhus Automotive are quite excited about is the return of a wagon model to the lineup with the release of the Volvo V60.  Let's take a closer look at the details.

It has been a few years since Volvo has produced a traditional wagon. The last one seen in the U.S. was the V70 that ended its production with the 2010 model. This is because drivers seemed to be more interested in versatile crossovers like the Volvo XC70.

As far as the new V60 wagon goes, it will be most comparable to the Volvo S60 in terms of its 2015 powertrain offerings. Drivers will also have the option of an all-new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that can produce 240 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. We are excited to hear about its fuel efficiency ratings once they are released by the EPA.

The exciting new wagon will be available for a starting price of $36,215. There will also be a Premier Plus upgrade for an addition $750 that adds features like a backup camera. Plenty of customization options will be available for drivers.

The arrival of the V60 wagon here at our Colorado Springs, CO showroom is scheduled for early this year, so be sure to be on the lookout for it. In the meantime you are more than welcome to check out our current new Volvo lineup and arrange a test drive with the one that piques your interests.
